Sophie is an excellent teacher of French. I find our lessons together enjoyable and interesting. Each lesson begins with conversation between us in French, before we go on to undertake more structured exercises in communication and grammar. By mutual agreement, Sophie sets homework assignments which I can undertake in advance of the following lesson, and her feedback on my work is very helpful. The Skype application is an ideal medium for the online lessons: the quality of the audio and video communication is very good, and it is easy to exchange and share resources to support the lesson and to aid further study. Most importantly, it allows me to have lessons with a native French speaker, which is very beneficial.

Really pleased with the lessons Pascale has provided so far. She is very good at understanding the speed at which one learns therefore she tailors her lessons to keeping you engaged with recent work whilst pushing your skills further. Her lessons are really enjoyable and she is always willing to put in the extra work, often staying longer than she is meant to. It's interesting to learn from someone who is native french as not only is she well equipped to teach, she is also very interesting to talk to about France and its culture. I couldn't recommend her highly enough!

I hoped that it wasn't too ambitious an ask when I went in search of someone who could bring my understanding of German from next to none at all to a good level in only 8 weeks or so - this was how much notice I had when my relocation to Switzerland was confirmed! The course of lessons that have been organised to equip me with the basics in this time have been great, while still being flexible on occasions when I've tried to look ahead and have picked up some additional knowledge. Relating to how grammar works in other languages I know has been a huge help too. Thanks for your time, effort & assistance!

Ursula was a bit of a find! We have a 13 year old boy who has walked away from French and was in danger of walking away from German . He has only had 2 lessons but he is already more enthusiastic and for the first time has put up his hand and asked a question in German class at school.
