Personal Description:

I am a 46 year old qualified, UK Teacher residing in East Lancashire.

Teaching Experience:

I have acquired over 18 years of teaching experience both here -in the UK and overseas. I have taught Primary, Reception, KS1 and KS2. I have also taught Secondary KS3 & KS4 - Literacy and Humanities as well as teaching Adults, Key Life Skills - ESL. I have experience teaching the British National Curriculum, IB (MYP & PYP) and the Cambridge Curriculum. I have taught in the Middle East, North Africa and in Europe as well as in London and the Home Counties. I am currently working as a Supply Teacher across Lancashire and Yorkshire - Primary and Secondary.

Teaching Approach:

My approaches to teaching is all about getting to know my students in terms of their current ability, their requirements and overall long-term expectations. Appropriate targets are set on a level by level basis to suit the students individual needs and learning objectives. Learning should be kept interesting, but challenging. Emphasis is on acquiring the necessary skills and knowledge as a foundation to fullfill the students potential.
