Personal Description:

I am a French-speaking Swiss citizen and I have been living on the outskirts of Bournemouth for the last 25 years. I have been teaching French for 44 years either to individuals or company groups or school groups and from 2014 have trained numerous Ministry of Defence personnel ie Royal Marines in Poole and all over the UK for the British Army or the RAF classes or up to 15 or on an individual basis. I have taught French up to PRE-UNIVERSITY level (higher than A-level) as a sole teacher to students preparing Pre-University French on a homeschooled basis. I have also been tutoring German up to GCSE level and Italian up to intermedia**Contact Detail Removed**vels over the last 15 years either face to face or online. I have also taught English as a Foreign Language with various Bournemouth Language Schools and hosting non-English foreign students which is very helpful to relate grammar to the foreign language chosen by any student for 12 years up to the pandemic.

Teaching Experience:

I have taught 9 - 14 year old children all school curriculum subjects full time in Switzerland (French part) after I obtained my teacher's degree.
Taught British Airways staff French. Taught Organix staff French. Interpreted for GCE Medical from English to French for their engineers training course. Worked for several Language Agencies teaching mostly French but also German to beginners ie at LUSH COSMETICS & WÄRTSILA in Poole and English (EFL) to foreign students over the summer and online. Taught many students preparing for GCSE or DALF exam or other over the years as well as preparing students for living and working in a French-speaking country. Taught French at the MOD on a contract basis since Sept 2014.

Teaching Approach:

I have a conversational approach to teaching as that is often requested, strongly supported by solid grammar study. I encourage students to revise and memorize material studied during their lessons with me to capitalize on their investment and learn faster. My students enjoy their learning experience with me. I tailor-make lessons according to students' needs and requests. Students pass exams with top qualifications or qualification sought for those who have more difficulty.
