Personal Description:

Hola !!! I am Silvina, a native spanish teacher with over 20 years experience - I enjoy teaching and have successfully prepared students to get top grades in Spanish GCSE, A level and exams from Universities. At the moment, I also work as GCSE Teacher at a school in Forest Row.

Teaching Experience:

After graduating in Economics I trained in Madrid for 3 years teaching English and Spanish. Later I moved to London where I worked for Language schools until I became Self employed.
I relocated to East Grinstead, West Sussex and I have concentrated in preparing students for their exams as well as teaching adults of any level and background.

In the last 18 years I also taught Spanish for business in companies like British Airways and other businesses. Generally, most of the private tuition has come from recommendations from students in Lingfield, East Grinstead, Forest Row, Tunbridge Wells, Godstone, etc.

Teaching Approach:

I am flexible and patient. I try to understand what works best for each student and I make my lessons enjoyable despite the verbs and tricky grammar that some students need to learn for their exams.
Adults who need to learn to travel get to practise through role plays and conversation.

I enjoy teaching so I give 100 percent. I like to see students learning and making progress week after week.
One to one lessons are very effective and the progress each student makes is huge compared to group lessons.
