Personal Description:
Hello! My name is Gareth and I am a dedicated language teacher. I specialise primarily in Spanish, Mandarin, Portuguese and French but can also tutor in Welsh upon request. Languages are my passion and I have been very fortunate in receiving excellent tuition throughout my life. It is this which has inspired me to become a language teacher and has set me a high bar to which I always aspire to reach. I am approachable, professional and understanding, always attempting to teach the highest quality lessons whilst having a sense of humour and forming a good relationship with the learner.
Teaching Experience:
I have a PGCE in secondary education and 10+ years of teaching experience with pupils ranging from 6-18 as well as having tutored adults. I have a vast understanding of teaching and learning methods and have been on many specialised courses tailor made to give me the tools and knowledge to teach at a very high standard.
Teaching Approach:
I change my teaching according to the needs of my student. I am generally lighthearted and entertaining but happy to be more serious and move at a faster pace if you desire.
