Personal Description:

I have always been fascinated by language and linguistics. Earning a first-class bachelor's degree and a distinction in my postgraduate certificate in language studies has allowed me to deepen my knowledge in this field. Teaching and sharing what I've learned brings me great joy—there's nothing quite like inspiring curiosity and enthusiasm in learners.

Teaching Experience:

I have been teaching Japanese since 2004. I taught in two of the most renowned Japanese language schools in Hong Kong: The Japan Society of HK (香港日本文化協会日本語講座) for 16 years, and Dai-ichi Japanese Language and Culture School (第一日語暨文化學校) for 8 years… I am now hosting private Japanese lessons in the UK.

Teaching Approach:

I carefully choose textbooks and exercises tailored to meet students' unique needs. By diving deep into vocabulary and grammar, I ensure that both meaning and usage are crystal clear. To help students truly master the language, I assign a variety of homework and practice exercises, including writing and listening activities. Regularly, I provide test exercises to evaluate their progress and keep them on track.
