Personal Description:

I am a translator, interpreter and language trainer. Born in Germany, I moved to England in 2009, and recently relocated to the Midlands with my partner and dog. I feel privileged that I am able to make a living out of my great passion - languages

Teaching Experience:

Approx. 15 years of preparing and holding tailor-made English and German classes, teaching a wide range of students ranging from pre-school children to mainly adults (specialising in Business English/German). Group sizes range from 1:1 courses to about 20 students in a group.

Teaching Approach:

I enjoy working with people and find teaching and supporting students on their journey of learning a language immensely rewarding. Languages are communication tools, but not everyone learns to use this tool in the same way, and I love discovering the best solution for my students and then implementing it successfully. I have found that teaching is as much about explaining and conveying knowledge as it is about providing a structured approach to learning, making sure that learned contents are consolidated and, most of all, that language learning is fun.
