Personal Description:

Hi, my name is Sophie. I'm from England and studied French at the University of Bristol before becoming a French teacher. I am passionate about learning languages and it's abilities to open up many opportunities, to develop your cognition and memory, as well as to provide enjoyment! However, I know that it can be very difficult! I would love to support you on your journey to gain more confidence in French, further your skills and open up future opportunities for you.

Teaching Experience:

I have been Head of MFL in two UK secondary schools (London and South Gloucestershire) and so have experience as a classroom teacher as well as leading teachers to improve pupil learning. My specialism is French and I have 6 years of experience. I have taught children from 10-18 years old and therefore have experience teaching KS2, KS3, GCSE and A-Level.

Teaching Approach:

My support will depend on your requirements and I can be flexible with my approach to suit your needs. Whether you need to develop skills in production (writing, speaking), or comprehension (reading, listening), I will tailor my sessions to support you.
