Personal Description:

I am an experienced native Spanish tutor working from my home in Ham, between Richmond and Kingston. After finishing my university studies in linguistics and literatureI moved to London and I have now been living in the Uk for the past 20 years. I come from northern Spain and my accent is clear and neutral. I love meeting new people and I am a caring and patient tutor.

Teaching Experience:

Although I trained as a teacher, I worked as a bilingual PA in the city for many years until I decided to give up to my job to do what I like most. I have now been teaching Spanish privately for the past twelve years and enjoy it very much. I teach GCSE students, A level, university students and adults who don’t need to pass an exam but want to challenge themselves by learning a new language.

Teaching Approach:

My lessons follow mainly the direct method, you will be talking in Spanish from the first day, with emphasis on pronunciation. I will also teach the necessary grammar to help you progress faster. Depending on your level, I follow a book, especially for beginners but prepare extra exercises. In every lesson there is plenty of conversation, some exercises, reading and I normally ask students to write a text as homework or to do some extra exercises.
