Personal Description:

Hello, I'm Shaun.
Any English you want help with, we can do. The English Language is my specialty and I take pride in helping people, so whoever you are, whatever your ability or background, let me support you. You will be making the right decision.
English is my work and hobby, but I also love football, travelling and battling my girlfriend with word games!

Teaching Experience:

I have been teaching English in various forms for about 25 years. This could be simplified as: 1. Teaching English and English Language curriculums to college students. 2. Teaching adults Literacy in private training schools. 3. Teaching ESL/TEFL to foreign students (6+ years' experience).in overseas training schools (and online).
I started teaching at University and 3 of my 9 degree modules were teaching-focused. Then I continued this at colleges as I worked through my post-graduate teaching qualification, finally finding work with private training companies.
I have worked in the UK, China, Ukraine and Poland.

Teaching Approach:

Most importantly, too many teachers are too polite and friendly to correct students with EVERY thing I do not believe this is helping the students. So my sharp eyes and ears are looking for every little detail I can help you with. If I don't tell you when I see or hear something then I am not doing my job properly. I am a great believer in getting to know YOU and putting your needs as the priority. That's my method. I'm just a normal person like you but with a very experienced background in English. I want to help you and encourage you to learn more in your own time and we simply need to agree what you need or want, and on we go from there. You are serious about learning English, and I am serious about teaching it.
