Information About Sarah - City of London teacher

Personal Description:

I have a First Class degree in Modern Languages (German, Italian) and Business Studies. I have degree level Grade 1 Certificates in Oral Proficiency in both languages. I have lived and worked in Germany and I have lived and studied at University in Italy. I have translated technical German for corporate clients. I also run my own business as a Coach and Mentor and have a TEFL Teaching Certificate.

Teaching Experience:

I have taught adults and children on a one-to-one basis, whilst studying at the University of Milan and tutoring adults in the UK as well as children from age 5 upwards.
I tutor GCSE and A level students and families getting ready to go and live abroad.
I have taught courses to larger groups both in the UK and abroad.
I teach from complete beginner up to advanced levels and currently do corporate teaching work for a Swiss company as well as having several students both for German and Italian all at various stages in their language learning and progressing well!

Teaching Approach:

An experiential approach with an emphasis on repeating key points and finding the learning style that best suits the individual. I will identify strengths and areas requiring improvement. Tuition is also tailored according to individual needs, for example, grammar for A level or GCSE or needing to improve the language to move abroad or games and exercises for children.
