Personal Description:
I have a degree in French, German and Spanish, have lived abroad and spent several years in a multinational company communicating in all three languages. I love to share my enthusiasm with others.
Teaching Experience:
I have experience as a tutor of French, German and Spanish as well as English as a foreign language.
Teaching Approach:
I have a very friendly, gentle and patient style, and find that humour can make learning easier and more effective. I try to customise material to suit students' interests as that tends to aid motivation!
I also offer tools to help with anxiety and stress (e.g. exam or work related) if desired. This can include EFT acupressure tapping which has been shown to calm the brain, creating a state receptive to learning. We can combine this with language tuition to whatever extent you would like.
