Personal Description:
I am a 29 year old journalist and editor from El Salvador, in Central America. Currently studying a masters in international relations in London. I am passionate for languages, teaching and traveling. Keen to working with you to improve your language skills!
Teaching Experience:
I worked at a language academy in Guatemala for three years, while I was studying my BA in Political Science. I taught English and Spanish, from basic to conversation levels. I was assigned to teach specialized lessons for professionals who needed a particular set of skills.
Additionally, I have taught history at a local university in El Salvador and ran a political formation NGO, so I have relevant experience in teaching, explaining concepts and making subjects interactive.
Teaching Approach:
Understanding a language is not only about grammar and rules, but its actual use.
To better teach a language, I use conversations, music examples and cultural references to back the grammar/rule part.
