Personal Description:

I am a native Bengali speaker, and take particular interest in teaching this language. I also have a PhD from a UK University,as a result my proficiency in English is up to the mark to teach, verified by IELTS.

I teach both every day spoken Bengali (RP accent) as well as the technicalities of Bengali spelling and grammar. Please note, I have a 50% introductory discount to make it easier to try it out.

Teaching Experience:

After teaching Bengali to a native English speaker in a relationship with a Bengali speaking person, she was very pleased with being able to communicate with her in-laws, and this gave me so much joy that I decided to do it more seriously.

Eventually, a Bengali family relocated to the UK wished to train their 8 year old daughter with their native tongue but was finding it difficult to gove her enough time and attention to teach her read and write in Bengali. It was a very rewarding experience for both of us, and I look forward to these moments.

Teaching Approach:

I like to adapt to my students' needs. I have taught as a teaching assistant during my PhD where I found it works best if I engage my students in a discussion rather than preaching.
