Merhaba,

Would you like to learn Turkish from a qualified teacher who will simplify the tricky points and make it fun with the experience of 13 years and hundreds of students?

Age or level doesn’t matter as I adopt an approach suitable for the learner.

A bit about me… I have studied English Literature at Bogazici University in Istanbul, the top university in Turkey. I have then furthered my education with a MA in London and obtained a teaching certificate both for English and Turkish.

How is my approach? I love having a good bonding with my learners and we always start the lesson with a fun activity to practise speaking skills. The learners are generally quite surprised when the lesson finishes as they haven't even realised how the time passed when I switch from one activity to the other :)

Teaching Experience:

Almоst аll yeаr rаnges frоm 5 up tо 70 years old! I honestly believe learning doesn't have any boundaries and age limits so whether you are a mature learner or have a young child who needs some support, I can easily adapt my lessons according to their level.

I am also a mother of two little people and love interacting with them in both languages!

Teaching Approach:

The lessons are based on both grammar and speaking with loads of activities, including sometimes moving around, or playing too so never be too shy! But most significantly, I love seeing the shine in my learner’s eyes whilst they are learning!

I've also challenged myself to learn another language to understand the difficulties a student may experience and it's good to work out my brain ;)

From Rahat (5/5): Nesliham is very professional, understanding and encouraging in her approach to teaching.
For me personally I had to be very selective when choosing a tutor because I am visually impaired I had certain requirements. Neslihan was so welcoming, took on board my suggestions and very specifically tailored the lesson to my needs, which made me feel very comfortable and confident to be myself around her and just learn with no other worries.
She is an excellent tutor!

From Hayley (2/5): Good communication initially but having agreed a date & time I purchased the teachers details for the sum of £14.99 only to then private message her and find out she booked a last minute holiday for 2 weeks. The problem is we allready agreed a time and date and agreed her children could also be present for the lesson. Overall I was left disappointed

I am sorry to hear that you feel disappointed but it would have been nicer if you have contacted me at the first place before writing on here in order to be refunded. I am a passionate teacher and I just wanted to help your son learn Turkish with almost no intention of earning money for this specific lesson as I spent days thinking what would be the best setting for all our kids and then decided to make it as a playgroup so that your son will also have the opportunity of practising the language more. In fact, this is something I wouldn’t normally do, as I don’t want any distraction during my lessons and I even arrange childcare outside the house if needed when the learner comes to me. So you can easily see how much effort I was putting in just to be able to help you and your son. I also feel quite disappointed when I had all good intentions just to be treated unfairly.
Lastly, yes I went to Turkey as a last minute arrangement but I did texted you a day before the lesson. Also I have to correct you that it wasn’t for holiday. My grandma was poorly and she passed away right after I went. I wish I didn’t feel obliged to write this info on here:(
