Personal Description:
I am a native speaker of Spanish who has lived and worked in London (University of London) for more than 20 years. Spanish as a foreign language has always been a subject I am passionate about and find seeing students’ learning progress very rewarding.
Teaching Experience:
I have extensive experience teaching Spanish both in person and online, including one-to-one tuition.
Aa lecturer, I was responsible for designing Spanish language courses, developing materials and assessment tools. I have written Spanish language learning textbooks fior BBC education and the Open University, with particular expertise in beginner / GCSE level. I have also developed online materials, some of which are available on YouTube.
Teaching Approach:
I use a variety of materials and techniques to help students develop their language skills. I aim to optimise class time and expect students to also work on their learning in their own time for which I provide online and other resources.
