Personal Description:
Hello! My name is Maria, and I’m from Spain. I’m a qualified secondary school teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status), and I truly enjoy working with both children and adults. Teaching is my passion, and I’m dedicated to creating an engaging, supportive learning environment for all my students.
Teaching Experience:
I have experience teaching in primary schools both abroad and in the UK, and I’ve also led after-school Spanish clubs for primary students. Currently, I work as a Spanish teacher at a local secondary school, where I teach Spanish from GCSE up to A-level.
Teaching Approach:
My experience as an English student made me realise how important is to use different approaches when delivering language lessons. Grammar can be so boring! Learning a new language should be pleasant and enjoyable. For that reason, I make sure to use different resources in a fun and interactive lesson.
