¡Hola! If you are reading my profile is because you might be interested in my lessons so, MUCHAS GRACIAS.
Let me formally introduce myself, my name is Maria Jesus and I am coming from Valladolid, one of the cities in Spain where Spanish is better spoken. I moved to the UK 8 years ago and I have worked as a Spanish tutor for the last 7 years. This is my second job because I work as Occupational Therapist Assistant in a mental hospital in the area where I live. I enjoy guiding and helping my patients to achieve their goals in order to promote their independence and I apply this in my role as a Spanish tutor. Being able to speak a foreign language gives you the opportunity of traveling, meet new people, have new experiences, and be independent.

Teaching Experience:

I have worked as a Spanish tutor for the last 7 years for 2 well-known agencies UK based and one language franchise.
I have got experience as a 1:1 tutor and also in groups. I have taught all the levels from beginners to advance and I have also helped to prepare for A levels, GCSE, DELE, and University exams. I also give "out of hours" support: online, skype, email, messenger, WhatsApp… to make sure my students are prepared just before their exams.

Teaching Approach:

I love teaching my language using different resources and dynamics to make my sessions profitable and enjoyable such as games, songs, exercises… and of course, they are given according to my student`s needs. It is not the same as someone who wants to learn for pleasure or someone who needs to pass an exam. Learning a language is a difficult process ~ I can`t tell you the oposite~ but with my easy method, you will get the results you want and you will have fun from the very beginning.
