Personal Description:
I was born and brought up in Germany, but have spent most of my adult life in the UK working in the aviation industry. In 2001 I gained a Diploma in Public Service Interpreting - German/Health.
Teaching Experience:
I have 10 years experience in the design and delivery of German language courses at corpora**Contact Detail Removed**vel for beginners and advanced students as well as providing private tutoring to GCSE and A Level students. I also successfully completed a TEFL Course (Teaching English as a Foreign Language).
Teaching Approach:
I believe language learning should be fun and interactive. I like to teach vocabulary and grammar using interactive games, songs, conversations on subjects the student is interested in and hobbies he/she may have. Lessons are also designed with the student's level and needs in mind,e.g. upcoming GCSE or A-Level exams or professional advancement/ability to communicate more effectively with business clients.
