As a native Punjabi speaker and experienced tutor, I help students connect with their roots by mastering Punjabi and Hindi. My lessons focus on building fluency and confidence through simple explanations of sentence structure, grammar, and vocabulary. In a few lessons, you’ll be able to talk about your daily routine naturally!

Teaching Experience:
If you’re hesitant to speak Punjabi for fear of making mistakes, or if you struggle to find the right words, I’m here to support you every step of the way. My lessons are personalized to suit your goals—whether you want to focus solely on speaking or explore reading and writing as well. I never force my students to learn reading and writing if their primary goal is conversation.
With one-on-one guidance in both Punjabi and Hindi, I’ve helped students of all levels build confidence and fluency. For adult learners focused solely on speaking, I offer a supportive, conversational approach—no tests, no pressure—so you can gain fluency in Punjabi naturally. I emphasize vocabulary-building, sentence structure, and grammar in a way that feels accessible and engaging, with noticeable progress often within just a couple of lessons.
My online lessons are available for both adults and children, offering a flexible and convenient way to learn. I work with students from diverse backgrounds, including those new to Punjabi through marriage or cultural connection, ensuring each student builds a solid foundation in the language.
Additionally, I offer basic cooking classes in Asian cuisine, creating a well-rounded cultural experience. From Hardeep (/5): My two children (aged 15 and 12) have now had lessons with Manpreet for about 3 months. They both speak highly of Manpreet's approach and teaching skills. In the past I have tried teaching my kids Punjabi but realise that I was just dumping vocabulary on them without being able to explain why sentences are structured in certain ways. Manpreet has given the children building blocks to understand sentence structure and has slowly been building up the kids vocabulary. If there was one area that could be improved I would say it would be to have more of the teaching material in the form of handouts as the children are currently writing things down themselves in their books - but this is not a big issue. All in all, very happy with the teaching from Manpreet - highly recommended.

Manpreet is kind and very clear in her teaching (including using a white board with the online teaching) and my daughter seems to be taking in things well. She takes time to listen and understand my personal level of Punjabi and caters the lesson around that. She is happy to take charge of the lesson or work in conjunction with any material / questions I may bring to the table. There is not a bad thing I can say about Manpreet in any area of her approach to teaching. The classes are structured, contains a good mix of vocabulary and are progressive in nature. Just taking few classes so far, I can confidently say Manpreet can make learning languages far simpler and interesting. Most importantly Manpreet takes constant feedbacks and tailors the classes to the needs of the students. Manpreet also prepares additional exercises to put the learnings to practice.
