Information About Laure - Bath teacher

Personal Description:

I enjoy teaching French to adults and children. The approach is different but equally rewarding. It is great to see my students improve their language skills and becoming confident. I teach all levels, in a relaxed atmosphere covering grammatical points but above all, making sure that French is spoken as much as possible. My students also learn about French traditions/culture.

As a learner of foreign languages myself (I am also fluent in Spanish and Italian) and I have been learning Russian for a few years, I do understand the difficulties that students encounter when learning a new language this is why building confidence in speaking/understanding the language as well as knowing how a language works is important to me.

I thought that I would share a reference from one of my students:

Teaching Experience:

I have been a French language teacher for many years in the UK. I have taught in Adult Education Centres, in companies, in a Language School and for a children's language club. I also teach privately. I have worked as a French assistant for an Art college and for the Open University.

I can also teach Spanish to advanced level. I have taught Spanish privately and in an after school Spanish language club.

Teaching Approach:

My teaching approach is working as much as possible on the spoken language and seeing points of grammar, pronunciation and writing as we meet them in a specific topic. It is very important for me that the students feel confident in using the language.
