Personal Description:
I am an enthusiastic language teacher fluent in English, German and Spanish and a native Italian speaker.
Teaching Experience:
I have more than ten years of language teaching experience in UK primary, secondary schools, colleges and universities, where I have preparred students for their GCSE, AS/A2 and IB abinitio examinations, have led the GCSE German spoken examination and the AS and IB spoken Italian mock examinations. I enjoy giving private tuitions to all ages and am also currently running Italian beginner and intermediate classes to two groups of adults in Wivenhoe.
Teaching Approach:
I am passionate and enthusiastic about teaching languages and different cultures. I like to combine the CELTA and the PGCE theories and I also ensure I include V.A.K activities to cater for different learning types, as well as covering different skills, like speaking, writing, reading and listening. I also enjoy sharing with my students authentic materials of the language I teach like food and drinks, songs, films etc.
