Personal Description:

I am a native speaker of French, fluent in English and have basic knowledge of German. I graduated in Business & Management in France. Completed my final year in Oxford, UK (Oxford Brooks University). I currently live in Haslemere, Surrey.
I am a trained and qualified Teacher of French (CTEL" Certificate In Teaching European Languages, Trinity College London) and the proud owner of "French Tutor Surrey" in Haslemere. I have been supporting young pupils with their French and exams preparations and more mature pupils whom either needed to improve because of their jobs or simply for pleasure. I have even taught French to a lady of 93 years of age… As well as teaching French, I also worked as a Customer Care Manager for large corporate companies for over 15 years now. This means I completely understand the requirements of Business men and women wanting to polish their French.

Teaching Experience:

I work as a French Tutor for 2 well known agencies UK based and have taught at the Guildford College in Surrey (evening classes for Adults).
I have been giving private french tuitions for a number of years and run my own French Tutoring School "French Tutor Surrey" and support my local schools.
I am a qualified teacher and hold the CTEL "Certificate in Teaching European Languages, French".
In this, my day to day job, I continuously train and coach people to get the best out of them and develop their hidden skills. I am extremely patient, truly enjoy helping people succeed and take great satisfaction in getting results.

Teaching Approach:

Each person is different and I tailor the lessons based on the tutee's requirement and what I believe is needed to achieve specific goals.
The goals are agreed up front between the Tutee and myself. At the end of the sessions, we review the goals and agree whether further actions are necessary.
I believe in praising people, supporting them, coaching them and encourage them to be positive. My lessons are always fun and enjoyable. I get absolute satisfaction when I know that what I do is having a direct positive impact on people, whether it is getting good grades, passing exams, being successful in taking job interviews in French or simply be able to communicate in French.
I also give "out of hours" support: on line/ MSN/ Skype etc… as I believe in continuous coaching to achieve best results.

From Frederick (5/5): My rating is bassed on my first lesson with Kenza which was for an asserssment.
I found Kenza very professional and approachable and understood my self assessment that i felt comfortable with reading French up to GCSE 'O' level but very weak at listening comprehension and verbal ability.I found Kenz's assessment methodology just what I felt I required and I am confident that I can make some solid progress with her.

From Lourens (5/5): Although we have only managed to do one session due to my own unavailability, the first session went very well with Kenza creating a very pleasant environment for me and my 7 year old daughter. She immediately connected with my daughter and adapted her teaching approach to suit our needs.

Both my daughter and I have no knowledge of French and I suspect it is going to take a high level of patience and flexibility of Kenza. So far she has shown a willingness and the ability accommodate all of this.
