Personal Description:

I am English-born fully bilingual language teacher. I spent most of my life between Liverpool, London and Italy (Pisa, Milan, Turin).

Teaching Experience:

I started teaching languages in financial institutions covering everything from grammar to public speaking. I have done this in England, Ireland and Italy (in state-schools, companies and privately)

Teaching Approach:

The first thing I do is get to know the student(s), assess the needs and wants in order to analyse the best way to teach them, preparing a bespoke course, with all appropriate materials (including audio, video and text supports).
Progress is assessed on a regular basis and object-driven.
I try to make students feel at-ease and to put them in the best situation to learn efficiently in the time available.
I'm an enthusiastic and inquisitive teacher. It's not just about the "teaching", it's essential that each student find their "voice", helping them to gain greater ownership of what they learn.
