Information About Isabel - Halstead teacher

Personal Description:

I hold a QTS certificate as well as a PGCE.
I specialise in teaching French to pre-school, KS1-KS4 students, as well as adults.
I also teach Spanish to GCSE level.
I am also experienced in teaching English as a foreign language.

I teach French at three private pre-schools during the week as well as a French school for bilingual children in Colchester on a Saturday morning. I am currently tutoring privately via Zoom.
Prior to teaching I was a shipping journalist and was able to use my fluency in French to gain access to a range of interviewees at companies in France and Belgium.
After graduating from University I cared for children in the after-school club at the Lycée Jules Verne, Johannesburg, for a brief spell before embarking on an exciting adventure as a French-speaking tourist guide for a French tour operator in South Africa. I later moved into the office to work with our direct clients, which involved creating tours and quotations and daily liaising with tour operators in France.

I also taught English as a foreign language whilst living in Madrid; I worked as a private tutor for children and business people as well as a class teacher at CEE Idiomas in Madrid.
I am able to teach basic Spanish.
