Personal Description:

I am a native Spanish teacher and I have been teaching Spanish for more than 20 years. I have been living in London for more than 30 years now. I come from a region called 'La Mancha' in Central Spain. The country of Don Quixote the famous character invented by Cervantes.
The variety of my experience and training demonstrates my flexible nature and ability to get on well with all kinds of people and complete effectively all tasks. I always approach all areas of my life with a sense of responsibility, commitment and high expectations.

Teaching Experience:

I have taught years 7,8,9, GCSE/IGCSE/A-level /IB courses/ Business Spanish, conversation and exam preparation (OCR, AQA, Edexcel and the Spanish examination DELE).I have also taught the American Curriculum and AP Spanish Language and Literature courses ( advanced Placement- equivalent to A levels) to students entering American Colleges in the U.S.A. Thus, I have experience in both American and English education systems.
During my teaching career, I have taught Spanish-Latin American Literature as well.

I am a professional with a proven ability to teach, motivate and direct learners to maximum performance by encouraging a positive, safe and engaging environment. I feel passionate about transmiting curiosity and promoting interest about the diversity of the Spanish-speaking world. I can offer one-to-one and groups tuition, tailored to your needs on a flexible schedule that fits around your lifestyle (available to tutor online as well). I make lessons enjoyable, fun and interactive but also very professionally orientated. I use diverse materials/methods that are adapted to each individual.
