Information About Giuseppe - Thame teacher

Personal Description:

Ciao! My name is Giuseppe! I'm Italian but I have been living in the UK for the last 7 years. I have a Master's Degree in "European Languages, Cultures and Literatures". In particular, I focused on English and Spanish.

I love playing video games. If possible, I use video games as part of my lessons, since many students love them! I am also a big football fan and I use to play as a goalkeeper when I was younger.

I also love reading books! My M.A. dissertation was about "The Hobbit" and "The Lord of the Rings".
Favourite book: The Hobbit

Finally, I speak English, Spanish and Italian, but I also love other subjects such as History, Geography and RE.

Teaching Experience:

I work as a Teaching Assistant in a wonderful secondary school in Oxfordshire, where I support students in 1:1 sessions and the whole class!

I also have experiences as an English and Italian tutor.

Teaching Approach:

I would like to know the studied topic in advance, in order to be able to support pupils in the best possible way.

I use media (Youtube is a huge support) like videos, music and video games if possible. I also like playing games that can help the students (such as "Guess Who" if they are learning a new language" or Hangman).

I also like making PowerPoint presentations that I can send to the students so that they can revise after the sessions.
