¡Hola! I am a qualified and experienced native tutor offering quality Spanish lessons in a relaxed and engaging environment.
I offer live online tuition and face-to-face one-to-one and group lessons (2-4 students).
All levels. Conversation. Exam Preparation: GCSE, iGCSE, A Level, IB, Common Entrance (Spanish), University Exams (& Essay Preparation), DELE, SIELE, etc.
Intensive One-to-One Courses during half-terms.
Please note that:
Exam Preparation lessons FEES are £35/hour. (GCSE, A Level, IB, DELE, etc.)
General Spanish for adults fees are £30/hour (regardless of level).
Teaching Experience:
I have been teaching Spanish as a foreign language for more than 20 years in different countries. In the UK I worked at Tonbridge School (independent school for boys), Tonbridge, Kent.

All lessons are specifically tailored to the students needs and abilities.

Lessons are dynamic and based on a communicative approach. All four skills are taught - speaking, listening, reading and writing - though the emphasis is on oral communication. We put learning into practice with lots of fun activities like games and songs.

Corina is a very professional, yet friendly teacher. She is good at adapting a lesson to your needs and has an amazing array of materials at her fingertips. I find the lessons stimulating and fun whilst at the same time she is pushing me to improve. I thoroughly recommend her.

From Billy (/5): Corina is absolutely fantastic. For no other reason than the fact I love Spain, I decided to finally commit to learning the language, albeit I struggled with languages at school so knew this was going to be a tough and daunting task. However, Corina teaches you in a brilliant way, she is patient, knowledgable and a complete professional. She does not do shortcuts to learn, she will teach you the structure of the language so that you have a full understanding of how the language works as opposed to just remembering words. My Spanish has made huge improvements over the past 2 years even with just 1 hour a week, I started out only being able to say 'Hola' and 'La Quenta Por Favor' (the bill please) but I am now confident in being able to hold small conversations with locals. Due to the virus I have been unable to visit Spain since I started but I am beyond excited to travel there soon and put all the hard work Corina has been doing with me to good practice. I highly recommend anyone looking for a Spanish teacher to consider Corina no matter what level your Spanish is, you will not regret it. Many thanks, Billy
From David (/5): I have had weekly one hour tutoring sessions with Corina for 1 month. Corina is very clear in her teaching methods and is very well prepared for each session. The hour session goes very quickly as the tutoring is clear and well presented with much to take in.

From Helen (/5): Corina has been an excellent tutor for my daughter while studying for her IB Spanish. She set the tutorials at just the right level, provided some homework but not too much, and was always encouraging. Help with the orals was particularly appreciated.

Corina was welcoming and immediately put me at ease. I was very much a beginner and didn't have a lot of Spanish grammar. She is a native speaker and was very patient with my bad pronunciation… I really liked her teaching style. The lesson was well structured and we covered a good amount of work in the time.
If things had been different for me, I would definitely continued with Corina and feel that I would have progressed with her very well.
