Personal Description:

Heya! I am a native Mandarin speaker and have studied English for decades. My passions lie in visual arts, films, audio design, mythology, animals and nature. Just about to graduate from GSA, I am open to opportunities of meeting and knowing new people.

Teaching Experience:

I have been teaching my flatmate and classmate Mandarin in person for some time. While being accussed of being strict and straight sometime, I cam gurantee I am positive, friendly and energetic.

Teaching Approach:

I am an easygoing person, as such, I prefer not to have any fixed approach to teaching. Instead, I believe that language, spoken or written is better honed with playful interaction and informal chit chat sessions. This will help you to develop complex sentence construction on the fly and help your vocabulary be more aligned with conversational Mandarin. If you wish, I would love to share some of the materials I have prepared, such as, academic essays, film reviews, literary excerpts and artistic news articles for you. Otherwise, we may also discuss your preferred choice of materials. Furthermore, I can also help to review any of your writings or essays that you may have. I look forward to learning with you soon!
