Personal Description:

I'm a language graduate with a First in French and German and I have lived and worked in France, Germany and Austria. I offer French and German tuition for all ages and abilities (including GCSE and A Level), whether face-to-face, online or a mixture of the two.

Teaching Experience:

I have been teaching languages since 2010, both for private clients and institutions (Coleg Menai and Bangor University). Most recently, before taking maternity leave in 2015, I taught Languages for All evening classes at Bangor University, as well as language workshops for local schools.

Don't forget that I've been there: I've been a language learner too, so I have a good idea of the challenges faced by English-speakers when studying French and German. I know what it's like to be on the other side of the desk!

Teaching Approach:

My approach is simple: I'm friendly, professional and flexible. My lessons are tailored to your ability, interests and what you want to achieve – I've taught grammar as well as fun, creative, one-off projects, so I have plenty of resources to draw on. If you just want basic conversational French, for example, the tuition will be focused on that specific goal. Equally, if you want all-round language skills, I'll make sure that all skill areas – speaking, listening, reading and writing – are given the same level of attention.
