Personal Description:
(I have my own teacher team. I can send a teacher over if I am not available to teach the student.)
(The rate shown is for 1:1 Mandarin Chinese lessons.)
I had a passion for teaching as soon as I became a teacher, and have devoted myself to education for more than ten years. Even though I am an experienced teacher from other people’s point of view, I still keep pursuing further education and making myself more professional.
I studied by myself to take the TKT (Teaching knowledge Test) run by the University of Cambridge and got Band 3 in all three modules. Moreover, as I found that teaching Chinese was very interesting and would like to be more specialised, I went to have teacher training for certificates of TCSOL (Teachers of Chinese to Speakers for Other Languages) and TCFL (Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language); ultimately, I passed the tests with flying colours. In addition, to increase my competitive capability, I applied for MA Bilingual Learners to UCL Institute of Education (worldwide no. 1 in education) and focused on Chinese teaching and learning during my studies. I also took part in many conferences on Chinese exams, such as Dartford Grammar School GCSE/IB meeting, UKAPCE (UK Association for the Promotion of Chinese Education) GCSE/A-Level teacher training, and New GCSE/Pre-U teacher training.
