Personal Description:

Growing up in a trilingual household has enabled me to effectively, confidently and swiftly switch between three different languages (Mandarin, Cantonese and English).

Teaching Experience:

Although, I have no experience in teaching in a classroom setting, I have three little sisters and I have enthusiastically participated in their entire education. This includes reading exercises, Mandarin and Cantonese listening practices and Mandarin pronunciation exercises. Despite having moved to the UK, I am determined to retain our roots and Chinese language, therefore I was particularly insistent on the teaching and practicing of Mandarin and Cantonese in our household (especially as the eldest, I set an example).

Teaching Approach:

Along with Chinese language, I intend to broaden a student's perspective and knowledge about China as a country, it's culture and various etiquette. Moreover, I will access the student's current level and plan my lesson to meet their needs or expectations, and examine their understanding of the lesson to adjust my next lesson planning.
