Personal Description:

I am French born and moved to the UK in my early teens where I learnt English and Spanish at a local secondary school. This experience not only gave me an insight into language learning and its subtleties, but also a passion for teaching English, French and Spanish.

I enjoy both online and face to face lessons.

Teaching Experience:

My teaching on a one-to-one basis began over twenty years ago when I supported a dyslexic learner studying Spanish. In 2005 I joined a project which has a particular focus on teaching English to refugee communities. I've been teaching refugees and asylum seekers on a voluntary basis ever since. I have also been teaching French, Spanish and English since 2020 through my self-employment.

Teaching Approach:

I always aim to motiva**Contact Detail Removed**arners with activities which include up to date material. This will vary according to what they enjoy doing as well as their reasons for wanting to learn a particular language. I'm always looking to refresh my skills.

My experience has taught me that there are different ways of processing information and I adapt to my learners' needs. It is essential to make the learning experience as relaxed, fun and pleasant as possible for everyone.
