Personal Description:

I have lived and worked in France for a number of years and speak French fluently. I have various qualifications in the languages I teach and am passionate about language learning. I am very approachable and friendly and try to make my learners at ease when they are learning.

Teaching Experience:

I have a PGCE teaching qualification and have taught various groups:

- English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)

Teaching Approach:

I very much work with the learners and discuss with them before the course of study how they prefer to learn and what they would like to learn. From this I devise a course of work that will both stimulate and interest the learner. I prefer to use different teaching methods such as pc based activities, audio work and speaking activities. This stimulates all areas of language learning - listening, speaking, reading, writing. I am a patient teacher and love to see my learners succeed and will help them in their language learning in any way I can.
