Personal Description:

I am a Petrozavodsk University graduate ( Finnish and Russian languages and literature 1993, Republic of Karelia, Russia). Languages are my hobby as well, I study Italian at the moment myself! I believe the importance of languages is underestimated in UK and people are missing on vital information on history and culture without studying other languages. My mission will be to teach you to be confident with your language, give plenty of country information and be able to communicate. I am enthusiastic about languages, but am also a patient tutor who will go at your pace. I love to see people achieving what they want to in education, and hope to be a part of that for you.

Teaching Experience:

I really enjoyed working with students of all levels and age. I had over 10 year experience as translator/interpreter in blue chip construction company in Russia, but also have organised evening courses of Finnish for professionals in Russia, as well as priva**Contact Detail Removed**ssons for students of all ages.

Teaching Approach:

I firmly believe that people learn in different ways, and that tutoring methods have to be adapted to the individual. I expect students to be communicative about what they find difficult or interesting, so that we can work together on the particular areas relevant to the student in a way that is enjoyable. Enthusiasm for the subject is an essential quality in a tutor and makes lessons far more interesting and rewarding for both parties.
