Hello, my name is Alexsandra. I am native Brazilian Portuguese speaker and experienced teacher. I love sharing and teaching my native language, as also Brazilian culture. As a native speaker, I can focus on a multiple aspects of communication.

I hold a degree in Portuguese and English studies and I have been teaching since 2000 ( Private and State Schools ). I have taught students of all ages and abilities and I am really passionate about teaching languages. It is a real pleasure for me to see the development of my students' language skills.

Teaching Approach:

My teaching methods are focused on communication. This hands-on, interactive and personalised approach ensures that you will understand and speak from the very first day.

If you are beginning to learn Portuguese or if you already have an intermediate or advanced level, I'll be happy to help you out with whatever you need. I can explain grammatical points, practice vocabulary and most importantly help you develop your oral proficiency.

Each student has a different way of learning or wants to learn the language for a specific purpose, so it's really important that you let me know why do you want to learn Portuguese, if you speak any other foreign language, if you want to focus on writing, speaking, understanding or all three, if you have a deadline to be fluent in Portuguese, how many lessons per week are you willing to take.

I have a wide variety of teaching resources and I try to make my lessons as engaging and motivating as possible.
