Information About Alexander - Streatham teacher

Personal Description:

My name is Alex, I am from London but am international at heart as I have lived in Spain, France, Ukraine and Italy.
My mother is Spanish and my father is from Scotland.

When not teaching I enjoy playing sports, cycling, reading, scuba diving and skiing.

I have two children that are trilingual (Spanish, English and Russian).

Teaching Experience:

I have been teaching English and Spanish for over twelve years. Additionally, I have been tutoring French. I have taught children, teenagers and adults of all levels from absolute beginner to Advanced.

I used to be an IELTS examiner and have a many years experience preparing students for this exam. I can happily say that some of the students that I have worked with have achieved a 9 in Speaking and Reading. Although the credit is mainly theirs :)

Other students of mine have surpassed expectations in French and Spanish.

Teaching Approach:

I believe in immersing a student in the target language as much as possible, meaning that I will be speaking Spanish, English or French as much as possible. It is important to establish targets so that tutor and student are on the same page.
