Hi, I'm Alexa,

Thanks for viewing my profile.

I have a real passion for the Spanish language, being a native speaker, writing poetry, and having studied linguistics. I also love to teach, having taught in a college in Spain, and in private lessons in the UK. I also speak Italian and French as well. I want to tailor lessons exactly to the needs you have. If you are a beginner in Spanish or you struggle with exams, I will be the tutor for you! I believe in using different sources like songs, games, etc. Learning a language must be fun!

I love discovering the world and have lived in several European countries. Now, I want to settle here in lovely Exeter. I also love art, photography and discovering Devon.

Teaching Experience:

I have worked teaching in a college in Spain, and given private lessons in the UK.

I have worked as a teaching assistant in the UK.

I have had about 10 tutees through another UK online tutor service.

Teaching Approach:

I like to discover what the students interests are, what they would like to learn, and how they learn, and Tailor the lessons around then. I have a deep knowledge of the language, and so can often offer different and unique insights into the language.
