Personal Description:

I'm a Spanish native teacher from Valencia. Teaching is not only my job but something that I really love and I believe that my students can sense that. Don’t worry, I'm (highly) qualified: I have a Master's Degree in Spanish Teaching, an MA in Psycholinguistics at the University of York, and a PhD in Psycholinguistics at the University of Reading. I am not only a passionate language learner myself but I also research the relationship between the acquisition of foreign languages and the brain.

Teaching Experience:

More than eight years of experience in teaching Spanish at the Higher Education level as a Lecturer and Preparatory Year Coordinator (two years), primary and secondary school (1 year), and adult learning (6 years), including having taught at Instituto Cervantes for four years and in two countries.

Teaching Approach:

My teaching style is dictated by my enthusiasm. I try to develop a welcoming and friendly environment with my students. My methodology combines a Communicative approach (focusing on the sociocultural usages of the language) with grammar, which I believe is essential for acquiring a language.
