Training Experience:
I started out as a peer mentor in college, then deepened my skills during an apprenticeship, where I spent years learning and mentoring others in a fast-paced work environment. Once I completed my training, I worked closely with engineering and development team members to enhance their skills in information security, and security operations.
Today, I lead IT workshops, Cyber CTF competitions, and hackathons, helping people of all ages transition into IT or Cybersecurity. It’s incredibly rewarding to support others as they develop their skills and pursue exciting new career paths.
Training Approach:
Cybersecurity is an excellent and rewarding field, and training doesn’t have to be overwhelming. My approach involves a combined methodology designed to ensure a well-rounded learning experience:
Taster Session
Interested in Cyber Security but not sure what to learn, book a taster session to talk through options and training paths
One-on-One Theory Sessions
Introducing new concepts and discussing strategies for effective problem-solving in a personalized setting.
Hands-On Practical Sessions
Encouraging "learning by doing" through interactive, real-world exercises to build confidence and skills.
Regular Assessments
Measuring progress consistently to identify strengths and areas for improvement, ensuring steady growth.
