Personal Description:
I am a PGCE qualified teacher (I did my teacher training at Queens' College, Cambridge) and a self-taught coder in C#, ASP.NET and MS SQL. I started working on a large-scale, complex C# / ASP.NET project three years ago and am the sole developer of this app.
Training Experience:
For the past 4 years I have been teaching students ASP.NET, C#, MS SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and have been pleased to see them grow in confidence and competence during this time.
Training Approach:
I believe strongly in giving the students the opportunity to practice as much as possible — the more code they can write in the lessons, the better! I like to help students to get into the habit of writing code, making mistakes, reflecting on those mistakes, and taking the learning forward. This leads to a much deeper understanding than simply talking about code in a theoretical way.

We are very pleased to have met him.
He was very patient whilst explaining things and instead of giving the answer outright, he encouraged you to find the answer for yourself. Nothing felt 'too silly' to ask, even the most basic of grammar questions! Also, I liked that he included little recap quizzes at the end of the session, reinforcing what was learnt and ensuring that the information was not immediately forgotten.
