Personal Description:

I am an optimistic, charismatic individual who is extremely passionate about education in general. What makes teaching appeal to me is to see that light bulb above your forehead shine bright with every knowledge you gain. I mix a little fun with seriousness as I believe this goes hand in hand. I personally found that adding humour to an otherwise miserable topic helps alleviate the stress and puts both myself and the you on the same page. Plus when you reflect on the lesson taught you would remember the humour behind it and the information is absorbed better.

Training Experience:

I am Microsoft Certified Trainer with over 8 years of professional working experience in Industry. My main focus is System and Virtualisation Administration; proficient in Windows Server 2000/2003/2008 and 2012 Hyper-V 2012 and VMware vSphere 6.0 virtualisation technologies. This also includes, PC/Laptop/Printer repair, troubleshooting and maintenance as well as server installation, configuration and support. The brands I have experience with are IBM, Dell, HP for servers and a variety of brands for PC/Laptops and Printers.

I have been successful in training 6 employees fresh from attaining their bachelors into fully fledged individuals running their own teams. To this day I consider this my proudest moment in my life.

Training Approach:

I provide a hands on approach to IT. Breaking down heavy complicated theory into simplified form so you the student may understand quicker. I attribute this feat to the years of experience in industry as this has aided me in presenting real life situations the you can benefit from in order to see the connection between theory and real life practice.

Each student absorbs information in their own way, some quicker than others. Whether you are a quick study or not this isn't an issue, as I personally wont be satisfied until you have understood the topic. I tend to consistently review previous lessons to ensure the fundamental theory is in place and that the lesson is now fully understood.
