Personal Description::
I have been dancing for over ten years, starting with bollywood dancing. Over the years I have learnt Kathak (Indian classical dance), contemporary and Bhangra (which is one of my favourites!) and use all these styles to choreograph my routines.
Dance Instruction/Teaching Experience::
I have choreographed and taught routines during university and with a dance company based in Birmingham- group and 1:1 classes. Aside from teaching dance, I work in primary schools and have taught English abroad, through which I have picked up teaching skills that I use to teach dance.
Teaching Approach::
Each class is tailored to the student's requirements, whether it be learning for fitness, a performance or just for fun! I choreograph each routine myself so it is original (unless requested otherwise). I am patient and teach small sections at a time, ensuring my students are comfortable with the dance routines.
I am able to travel to the student depending on distance, but I also offer lessons at my home and online.
My clients are welcome to requests songs for choreography. Each lesson begins with a warm up and ends with a cool down.
