I am an Education Coach, helping students of all ages to plan and succeed on their learning journeys.
I have three degrees and Qualified Teacher Status plus 15 years of helping students with their university and career choices.

From Tavia (/5): Vicki is tutoring my daughter in A level sociology - she is currently in year 12. Vicki is an excellent Tutour who is really professional and has such great knowledge- my daughter is understanding her subject more each week and gaining so much confidence in her work as Vicki explains things to her in a way that makes sense to her- she looks forward to her lesson each week and will be carrying on through the holidays to keep up the momentum.
Vicki listened to everything we needed when we first spoke and when I explained that my daughter is dyslexic that was also fine which was very important to me.
We will be continuing lessons until the end of year 13 and very much look forward to watching my daughters progress. Thanks Vicki

From Rachelle (/5): I was looking for an A Level sociology tutor for my daughter. I'd never used a tutor before, so wasn't sure where to look and what to **E-mail Address Removed** and came across First Tutors. After reading various profiles I chose Vicki because she has knowledge of 3 subjects not just one and offered small virtual tutoring groups. Vicki soon replied to my inquiry answering my questions and how she planned her lessons etc. Vicki also offered extra sessions during the Easter half term break, covering various topics. Niamh was able to attend 2 x 1 hour sessions a week, recapping year 12 and 13 work in each session. Niamh found it helpful working with other students and to be honest it was a really cost effective way to cover 2 years of work. I would often overhear Niamh in her virtual lessons and found Vicki to be an enthusiastic and knowledgeable teacher who engages with her students. I would recommend Vicki.

Vicki was very quick to understand my daughter’s needs and flexible when she needed specific support for a topic test and quick to help her meet her needs. Highly recommend.

From Nicki (/5): I had huge reservations about using Skype, much preferring face to face tutoring. However, Vicki was amazing and I needn't have worried. The whole hour was jam packed with teaching that was relevant, helpful and communicated effectively, Vicki certainly knows her stuff!
Spending just one hour with Vicki helped me to understand some of the concepts that I was struggling with for my psychology degree research project, so much so that I achieved 90%. Yes I had to look at it a few times in case I'd misread it!
I would certainly recommend Vicki to anyone and I would without a doubt use her again.
