Personal Description:

More than 20 years experience as a communications trainer, coach, consultant and speechwriter, helping clients in industry, politics, the public and not-for-profit sectors. Before that I worked in corporate communications, BBC TV, BBC & commercial radio, journalism and the arts. My experience ranges from hard news and current affairs to light entertainment and comedy. I have an Oxford law degree.

Training Methods:

Whether for one person or six, I make my training challenging, entertaining and highly interactive, using a mixture of theory, tips and practical exercises. Six is my preferred maximum but I will take larger groups by arrangement. I work with a broadcast TV cameraman to record and play back performances so that delegates can see themselves and analyse their progress in a supportive group environment. Full handouts and DVDs of interviews and presentations are included. Workshops are available in full day, half-day, breakfast (7-9) and early evening (6-8) sessions. Webinars and online coaching also available.
