Personal Description:
Two decades of experience tutoring wide-ranging English language skills for native and second-language business clients.
I have taught over 50 businesses and corporations, ranging from young adults just entering their career, and who need to acquire the basics to deliver powerful, professional, presentations. I have also tutored more experienced senior executives: Ministers, CEOs, The Johannesburg Stock Exchange, Heads of Departments from: banks mining, insurance, health, airports, research and IT.
No matter if you are 20 or 70, you need the skills to produce remarkable work to enhance your career.
Training Specialisms:
Teaching business skills, both written and spoken;
Basic and/or Advanced Business Writing
English as a Second Language including accent reduction;
Conversational and Business-related English (for those who have English as a second language);
Presentation Skills for in-house and external meetings;
Public Speaking training for composition and delivery to larger audiences;
Conference Speeches;
Annual Shareholder Meetings, and
Business Proposals.
Training Methods:
Whilst I produce skilled planning, preparation, delivery and feed-back, it is important to know HOW I teach. It's not by consciously learning, but acquiring through tips, techniques, interaction, exposure and real-life work assignments and projects. I am always there for advice and assistance at any time. Etiquette of the English language and grammar is included. Sorry!
My training is adaptable for those who have English as a Second Language. I am a trained TEFL tutor.
