KellyFrom Jade (5/5): Kelly’s knowledge, experience and tutoring style helped improve my abilities in a variety of ways, including my writing skills, my study methods and the way I approach essays. With Kelly’s tutoring my skills grew stronger and stronger, not only helping me gain the grades I had been wanting but even grades I never would have thought I could get (such as 80% for my dissertation!). I felt comfortable telling Kelly if I did not understand something and never felt embarrassed asking her questions. I genuinely really enjoyed working with Kelly and am really proud of what we achieved together. I am very thankful to Kelly and would highly recommend working with her!

Kelly adapts to your skill set and your way of learning, and let me tell you, she knows how to get the best out of you because she climbs into your head and assesses you properly through her open ended questions at the beginning of hiring her - so that she can incorporate a study timetable that’s truly tailored to how your brain works and what your current set of circumstances may be which may hinder your concentration. Extremely professional yet gentle and highly motivated to get the best out of you.
I won’t continue complimenting her because I wouldn’t want tons of students to snap her up, leaving no space for me to have access to her support when I need her the most.

From Hemant (/5): Kelly has been really helpful in preparing for my retake for Equity & Trusts. This was by far the most difficult module I have encountered within my LLB Law degree. She helped address my weaknesses straight away in our tutorials, and addressed exam technique in what examiners are looking for in an answer. What was more important was Kelly's ability to simplify complex legal problems in a coherent manner through Powerpoint slides, handout materials and marking draft papers. She has been an excellent tutor, and has instilled confidence to draw out my best performance.

From Frankie (/5): Kelly tutored me in degree level Law, specifically Equity and Trusts, leading up to a re-take of an exam. This was an area which i had found really hard before and she helped greatly, thanks to Kelly i ended up passing my exam! I definitely couldn't have done it without her, she was very friendly and easy to get along with. Before the first session she created a timetable for us, and throughout all our sessions everything was extremely tailored towards my style of learning. She would even mark work which i sent to her outside of the sessions. She asked me about areas which i found harder than others and would then focus on those more than others, she gave me multiple revision techniques and provided layouts for worksheets and tested me in various different ways. Kelly was an excellent tutor and i would highly recommend her to anyone!

From Charlotte (/5): Kelly Parmar is the best teacher I have ever had the good fortune to be a pupil of. On my first session we discussed the way I learn best and how best for Kelly to help me. Since then, every session has been tailored just for me. I have been able to text or email her at any time for any extra help I have needed, including reviewing pieces of coursework and giving me advice on how to improve, and even more remarkably, she has helped me get work experience and put together a CV and Cover Letter to improve my chances of gaining more placements. I have gained so much from my tutoring from Kelly, at the moment I have my exams and I am having three 2 hour sessions a week to help me revise and prepare. For these revision sessions Kelly provides me with PowerPoint’s that include key notes, big paper and coloured pens to write notes on, flashcards to write cases on, model answers to exam questions and mini-tests at the end of each topic to see what areas I am struggling on. The relationship I have with Kelly enables me to work better with the knowledge I have someone there to ask for help whenever I need it, and to know I have someone to guide me in the right direction. My grades have improved, reflecting the hard work and dedication Kelly has given to make me more confident in my studies. I am very happy with my tutor as I feel she is someone who is easy to approach and doesn’t judge me at all if I get something wrong or need extra help. Kelly is very approachable and after every session I feel much more confident in my learning.
