Personal Description:
I am a holistic developmental psychologist who is dedicated to empowering and educating people to overcome any mental health related problems.
Mental health related problems come in all shapes and sizes from being stressed out with work, a mild mental health difficulty, right up to needing 1-2-1 support in a secure unit.
By supporting people to make the right decisions to look after themselves early on difficult, and debilitating complications can be completely avoided.
Training Specialisms:
I specialise in supporting individuals to overcome stress, depression, and anxiety, businesses leaders to effectively manage and support their employees who are struggling from stress and/or mental health difficulties, as well as school teachers to successfully manage their pupils with mental health difficulties in the classroom.
I deliver training throughout the UK in the following areas:
Leadership and management development training.
Stress management training.
Mental health management training.
Employee engagement training.
Pupil mental health management training.
Training Methods:
Training is delivered in a number of different ways to fit in with busy time tables, and differing budgets.
Full day workshops are delivered for up to 24 people.
Leaders can access 1-2-1 coaching over a number of weeks.
Courses can be taken directly online.
Individuals can access therapy either face-to-face or via skype.
All support that's delivered is based upon up to date psychological research and evidence delivering and uses a 'what works' approach to supporting all clients.
Training follows a psychoeducational approach because it has the highest rate of successful implementation after delivery of all the current training approaches. This means all delegates understand the principles behind the information thus, enabling them to adapt each principle/technique to their unique environment and fully embed these skills into their everyday.
All training is delivered in a straight forward, no jargon manner because while the training is grounded in psychological research delegates will not need to have a psychology degree to understand what's being shown!
