Information About Tarek - Chelmsford teacher

Personal Description:

Tarek is an artist, art educator and an art curator currently based in London. He completed a Master’s Degree in Fine Arts at the City and Guilds of London Art School. Tarek holds a post-graduate diploma in Fine Arts from London’s Art Academy, where he was awarded a First-Class Honours degree. came to art with a background in medicine, which he studied at Damascus University, where he had his first solo exhibition. Tarek lead curatorial and art-workshop projects in the UK and internationally.

Teaching Experience:

5 years experience in teaching KS3, GCSE, MYP and IBDP.

Teaching Approach:

Having a ten years’ diverse experience in art and teaching arts to multiple grades, I have developed great expertise in maintaining a productive classroom environment and emphasizing on student involvement in the learning process so that each student achieves the learning objectives.

Teaching approach: planning, preparing and conducting art lessons, and assignments as well as making assessments, maintaining discipline in the classroom, counseling students for academic problems and special needs. Moreover, I am well-versed in keeping the parents updated about the student performance and maintaining positive relationships with students and their parents alike utilizing my outstanding communication skills.

My love for art has enabled me explore several mediums of art and craft including all types of water-based paintings, sculpturing, print making , crafting with recyclable materials and sketching. This is the reason why I have an extensive knowledge of every kind of equipment used for these purposes like types of brushes, paints and canvases.
