Personal Description:
I'm a freelance filmmaker and photographer, experienced in documentary, street, portrait and creative photography. I have been taking photographs for 12 years and enjoy the creative and technical aspects of the art. I'm a passionate filmmaker and photographer and genuinely enjoy helping to develop other people's creativity.
Teaching Experience:
I have tutored a number of adults in photography, exploring composition, lighting, shutter speed/ aperture/ ISO and focal length (lenses).
Teaching Approach:
Practical approach to teaching. I do spend some time on theory - in order to understand the concept - but most of the class is doing practical work. I also believe independent long-term projects can really help develop one's individual style.
